Dr. Naomi Fleischmann
Hi, I’m Dr. Naomi Fleischmann, the proud founder of Valkyrie Vets! My favorite part of veterinary medicine has always been building meaningful relationships with my clients and their beloved pets. I created Valkyrie Vets to practice veterinary care in the way I find most rewarding—where a patient’s stress is minimized, and I can take the time to connect with each family.
I chose the name Valkyrie Vets because of my love for mythology. In Norse legends, valkyries were fierce female warriors who came to the aid of soldiers on the battlefield. As a "valkyrie vet," I strive to come to the aid of my patients in the place where they feel safest—their homes.
I’m proud to hold certifications as a USDA-accredited veterinarian, Fear Free Professional, AAFP Certified Cat Friendly Veterinarian, and NAVC Human-Animal Bond Specialist. These credentials reflect my commitment to compassionate, low-stress care that strengthens the bond between you and your pet.
At home, I share my life with two wonderful (and mischievous) cats, Moxie and Shadow, who are littermates and my constant companions. They keep me on my toes and remind me daily why I love what I do.
In my spare time, you’ll find me hiking in national parks, taking road trips, or enjoying quality time with friends and family. I’m also a huge board game enthusiast and love attending board game conventions with my family—it’s my favorite way to relax and have fun!
I’m thrilled to bring personalized, compassionate care to you and your pets, and I can’t wait to meet you and your furry (or feathered or scaly) family members!
Autumn-Joy, LVT
Hello Pet Parents! My name is Autumn, and I’m a Licensed Veterinary Technician with a lifelong passion for animals, both big and small. As a child, I could often be found nose-deep in animal encyclopedias, reading about all sorts of exotic animals or studying the many fascinating breeds of dogs, cats, and horses.
I’ve had the joy of sharing my life with several small breed dogs over the years. Cocoa, Tristian (“Bucky”), and Buddy (“Spud”) may no longer be with me physically, but they’ll forever live on in my heart. My current companion, Charlie (“Binky”), still keeps me on my toes and fills my days with laughter. Through these experiences, I’ve come to deeply understand both the joy and heartache that come with pet ownership, along with the dedication it takes to keep our beloved animals happy and healthy. My goal is to extend that same compassion and care to every pet family I meet.
In my journey as a technician, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Dr. Fleischmann, who shares not only my love for animals but also my belief in building genuine connections with pet families. Fun fact—we even agree on the best color out there! Can you guess what it is?
